The rooms and bathroom are a nice size, but the bed was extremely uncomfortable because it was like sleeping on the floor. I asked them if they could add a soft mattress, and that was better. They have a pool which is not heated. The buffet breakfast was just average with mostly Indian food options.

Hotel and staff are lovely but there is no or very poor WIFI. Was handed password on check in but found it was only available in reception. Have asked 4 times for it to be corrected. Made a call thinking was on WIFI only to use all my credit. Poor for a so called 5 star hotel.

Green stay close to Periyar
The best part is the friendly and professional staff members. Also the property is gorgeous! We had our own bungalow and loved the privacy. Pool is big and lots of greenery on prem. Lovely stay! Also walking distance from bus depot to go into Periyar National Forest.

We stayed here as part of our Spicelands Tour. Such a great hotel near the centre of the town but you felt as though you were in the depths of the forest. The rooms were set on various levels ***** little paved pathways-if you are not very mobile you must ask for a ground floor room. We enjoyed walking around the different levels after our meals and seeing the monkeys in the trees. Our room was perfect-large walk-in shower, clean, comfortable bed and chairs outside of the room on the balcony which were nice to sit in and listen to the forest sounds. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good as was the breakfast. Wine was available to buy for the evening meal. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very nice. We would recommend this hotel.

Starting from front office to room no comments and Break fast, Lunch and Dinner Awesome, Staffs totally amazing, Tracking also very good , just say wowwwwwww and need such conclave in all other muthoot property to promote for family and friends

Stay at cardamom county was very nice .The ambience and food arrangement is very good. Staff behaviour and proper response is also very much appreciable . This is a very good place for visit with family as well . Over all experience is superb ...
